Q: When did you first know you wanted to start Sattva and what was the point that really made you go for it?
A: After a long struggle I had just made a big breakthrough in my technology career. I was running a mobile advertisement app startup. After that, I was kind of feeling lost because that’s when I realized that true happiness has to be found within! I took my meditation practices more seriously and that changed me completely. I found out that what makes me really happy is when I do something that’s truly useful and uplifting to people around me. I built an app called “sattva” as an expression of gratitude to my Guru – Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar – and by then my life had become truly sattvic! I cut down on processed food and one day I had a thought – why not tulsi infused water!! Because that’s something we were used to drinking when I grew up in India. And one thing lead to another and here we are with our Sattva beverages.
Q: What is the inspiration behind Sattva?
A: The ancient science of Ayurveda is our inspiration behind Sattva.

Q: What’s your favorite elixir/product right now and why?
A: My favorite elixir is Tulsi (Holy Basil) because it complements my daily routine by keeping me cool and relaxed. And it aids me in my meditation practice.
