Q: Tell us about yourself – what do you do when you’re not teaching? What are your hobbies? What other formats do you teach? Give us a little on your background.
A: Before moving to the United States, I practiced law as defense attorney. After arriving here, I wanted to help a bigger group of people, so I joined the Translations Department for Dallas Independent School District.
My hobbies include working out, dance and listen to music.
My favorite thing to do is to teach any of my fitness classes. I have a total of 17 certifications and regularly teach Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Pilates, Barre, Boot Camp, Cardio Sculpt, TRX and BODYSHRED. I am also in the process of developing a new format for people with physical limitations. When I’m not teaching, I spend my free time with my three daughters and my husband.
Q: How would you describe BollyX in one word?
A: Graceful
Q: What is your favorite part of BollyX class?
A: My favorite part of BollyX class is the warmup because it sets the pace for the rest of the class, and makes the students excited for what’s to come – almost like a sneak peek of the class!
Q: How has working with BollyX changed you or your lifestyle?
A: BollyX has introduced me to a whole new dance culture.
Q: How long have you been with BollyX?
A: I’ve been teaching BollyX for over a year and a half!
Q: What is your favorite BollyX song to teach?
A: My favorite to teach song is Malhari.
